The Feng Shui Direction For Mothers

In Japan, the Mother Goddess is known as Amaterasu. In Greece, she is called Demeter and the Egyptian calls her Isis. The Tibetans refers to her as Tara and the Hindus calls her Shakti.
The earliest known tributes to mothers date back to the annual spring festival the Ancient Greeks dedicated to the great goddess Rhea, wife of Cronus and mother of the Olympians. Ceremonies in her honor began around 250 BC. In Chinese, the feng shui symbolism for mothers is known as KUN which represents the element of Earth. The Earth element belong to the Southwest sector.
To enhance for the luck of the Matriarch, the mother of the household, enhance the Southwest sector of the home with amethyst, rose quartz, or quartz crystal. Images and statues of the Goddess Kuan Yin, White Tara Goddess or Green Tara Goddess is excellent in this sector. However, please note that in 2013, the Southwest has the the 2 Illness Star which is an Earth star. Enhancing this area with too much Earth element is not ideal in 2013.
